Irrigation scheduling and soil moisture use on growth and yield of late sown wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties

The present investigation was intended to determine the growth , yield capacity and soil moisture use of different late sown varieties wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under irrigation schedules. is study undertaken with an objective evaluate varietal performance less availability. To fulfil aim field experiment conducted during winter (Rabi) season 2019-20 combination three schedules as main plot, five sub plot factor, replication. Significant impact irrigations on crop growth, total observed over two one schedule. Among varieties, WR-544 reported superior attributes, where grain 11.5–15.0% more MACS-6222, HS-562 HD-3086, at par HI-1544. Better establishment tillering HI-1544 resulted in efficient utilisation starting from CRI harvest stage compared variety MACS-6222. Irrigation scheduling critical stages by late-sown HI-1544, WR-544, HD-3086.
